1. Our Commitment to Safety

Wall Designer Pvt. Ltd. ("Wall Designer," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring the safety of our team members, our customers, their families, and their property during every service engagement. Safety is not optional — it is built into how we work.

2. Team Verification & Qualifications

2.1 Background Checks

• All team members (painters, supervisors, helpers) undergo identity verification before joining Wall Designer.
• We collect and verify government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card) for every team member.
• Address verification is conducted for all permanent team members.
• We maintain records of all team members' identity documents.

2.2 Skills & Training

• Our painters have professional experience in wall painting, texture application, wallpaper installation, and related services.
• New team members undergo a supervised training and assessment period before being assigned to customer projects independently.
• Team leads and supervisors have a minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience.
• Team members are trained on safety protocols, proper use of equipment, and customer interaction standards.

2.3 Team Identification

• Our team members carry identification when visiting your property.
• You will be informed of the team members' names and the project supervisor's contact number before work begins.
• If you have any concerns about a team member's identity, contact us immediately and we will verify.

3. Property Protection Measures

We take the following measures to protect your property during service delivery:

3.1 Before Work Starts

• Furniture, fixtures, and flooring near the work area are covered with protective drop cloths and plastic sheets.
• Electrical switchboards, light fixtures, and fittings are masked with painter's tape.
• Door handles, window frames, and edges that should not be painted are taped and protected.
• The work area is assessed for fragile items, and we advise moving valuables, electronics, and delicate items before work begins.

3.2 During Execution

• Paint cans and materials are stored in a designated area to prevent spills.
• Wet paint areas are marked or cordoned off when necessary to prevent accidental contact.
• Our team works carefully around fixtures, fittings, and surfaces that are not part of the scope.
• The work area is cleaned daily at the end of each work session.

3.3 After Completion

• All protective coverings are removed carefully.
• Paint drips, splashes, or marks outside the work area are cleaned.
• The area is swept, wiped, and returned to a usable condition.
• Leftover paint cans, brushes, packaging, and waste are collected and disposed of by our team.

4. Worker Safety Protocols

• Heights & Ladders: For work at height (ceilings, stairwells, exterior walls), our team uses sturdy ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms as appropriate. Team members are trained in safe ladder use.
• Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is ensured during interior painting to prevent fume buildup. We recommend keeping windows open during and after painting.
• Protective Equipment: Team members wear gloves, masks, and eye protection when handling chemicals, primers, waterproofing compounds, or solvents.
• Material Handling: Paint, thinner, and chemical products are handled according to manufacturer safety guidelines. Flammable materials are stored away from heat sources.
• First Aid: Team leads carry a basic first aid kit. In case of any injury at the worksite, our team is trained to administer first aid and contact emergency services if needed.

5. Materials Safety

• We use branded paints and materials that comply with Indian safety standards (BIS standards where applicable).
• We prioritise low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and eco-friendly paint options. If you have specific preferences for low-odour or eco-friendly products, let us know during the consultation.
• Lead-free paints are used for all interior projects. We do not use paints containing lead or other banned substances.
• Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for specific products used can be provided on request.

6. Damage Liability

• If any accidental damage is caused to your property by our team during the course of work (e.g., breakage, paint on unintended surfaces, fixture damage), we take full responsibility.
• Report any damage to the project supervisor immediately or within 24 hours of the work session.
• We will assess the damage and either repair it, clean it, or compensate you fairly for the damage.
• Damage claims must be reported with photos and details for our review.
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items left in the work area despite our request to remove them, or damage caused by third parties.

7. Insurance

• Wall Designer maintains appropriate business liability insurance to cover accidental damage during service delivery.
• Our team members are covered under workmen's compensation provisions as applicable under Indian labour laws.
• For high-value projects or specific property protection requirements, additional coverage options can be discussed during consultation.

8. Health & Allergy Considerations

• If anyone in your household has allergies, respiratory conditions, asthma, or chemical sensitivities, please inform us during the consultation.
• We can recommend hypoallergenic, low-VOC, or odour-free paint options suitable for sensitive individuals.
• After painting, we recommend keeping the painted room well-ventilated for 24–48 hours before using it for sleeping or extended occupancy.
• Pregnant women, infants, and elderly family members should avoid prolonged exposure to freshly painted rooms until the paint has fully cured and the odour has dissipated.
